Signing up to become a member of EastBayRag simply means that you will get an email each week on Monday 8:01am GMT/BST 0:01 PST/PDT that summarizes the changes that have occurred on the site this week. Basically, a summary of blogs added (the title and first few lines of text) and details of the vote of the week.
