Jul 7-9 The Silverstone Circuit is a motorsport race track located in Silverstone, England, UK. The track is 5.891 km (3.660 mi) in length and features 18 turns. It is best known as the host of the British Grand Prix, a race in the Formula One World Championship, and also host other motorsport events such as MotoGP and World Endurance Championship. The circuit was built on the site of a World War II Royal Air Force bomber station and first host the British Grand Prix in 1950. The circuit is known for its high-speed layout, with a mix of long straights and fast corners, providing opportunities for overtaking. The circuit also features a mix of new and old sections, including the iconic Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel complex, which is challenging for drivers and a favourite among fans.
