Location: Circuit of the Americas
The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is a motorsport race track located in Austin, Texas, United States. The track is 5.513 km (3.426 mi) in length and features 20 turns. It is best known as the host of the United States Grand Prix, a race in the Formula One World Championship, and also host other motorsport events such as MotoGP and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The circuit was completed in 2012, and is considered one of the most modern and challenging tracks in the world. The circuit features a unique combination of corners, including a signature multi-apex turn 1, and a series of fast and technical corners, providing a great test for both cars and drivers. The circuit also has a number of elevation changes and a long back straight which allows drivers to reach high speeds.
