Marston July 2011

Another trip back home and the (now) habitual walk to Marston Pits. Very close to where my parents live, so it scores high on the convenience factor, but not necessarily the most productive place when it comes to seeing a wide variety of birds. This time didn't disappoint either - there really wasn't that much to see. Actually, in all fairness, I'm quite pleased as it seems we saw what I believe to be a green sandpiper. The birds I think I have photographed below are:

  • Common Moorhen
  • Green Sandpiper
  • Greylag Goose
  • Mallard
  • Wood Pigeon
