Birds of The Back Garden, England, January 2008

This collection of photos are mainly of birds and mainly taken in the back garden at my folks house in England. A few of the pictures are taken through a window so apologies for the clarity, but there are also some quite good ones in there.

One interesting fact I found upon my return to the US is that only two of the birds pictured below are resident over here (the Common Moorhen and the Mallard). There are similar birds to many over here, but there are differences, for example, the American Robin has an entirely red front and not just on its breast.
