Lake Lagunitas June 2012

Lake Lagunitas is somewhere I've been meaning to go back to time and time again, but for one reason or another, I've not made it round there .... until now. The hopes were of seeing an osprey, which I did, but was unable to get a photograph of it. It circled the lake when I was at a point under a lot of trees and I was not able to get a good clear view of it. Still, it's a great lake and a fantastic walk. I did photograph:

  • Acorn Woodpecker
  • American Robin
  • Black Phoebe
  • Brown Creeper
  • Dark-Eyed Junco
  • Double-Crested Cormorant
  • Hermit Thrush
  • Mallard
  • Pied-Billed Grebe
  • Red-Shouldered Hawk
  • Red-Winged Blackbird
  • Turkey Vulture
