Crissy Fields June 2008

Quick afternoon out to Crissy Fields. I have to say, probably not the best place to go as it's a bit of a tourist attraction and there are 100's of people around. That said, I did get to see a couple of things. Another great blue heron that I managed to get within about ten feet of - seemed to be very domesticated. Had to play a bit of a guessing game with the gulls as I'm still not sure how to tell on type from another, but I've done my best. Some nice shots of a few snowy egrets. The focus isn't very good on the one that's catching a fish, but I'm quite pleased with the picture of the one through the foliage.
