A leisurely stroll or wheel around Las Gallinas. The second time I've taken the scooter out to one of the old birding walks. William was with me on foot. Did a longer path than I've ever done when I've been walking, so was interesting to see a bit more of the location. I thought the path went to the bay, but it doesn't quite get close enough on the bits we were on. Not a lot of water fowl, but definitely the time for mothers and babies, which I guess was poetic given that it was Mother's Day. Definitely a lot of red-winged blackbirds all over the place. It was like they'd taken over. Probably the biggest highlight was the hares. William was quite surprised with how large they were and one ran out in front of us and then down the track. We also ended up standing about three feet from one that was hiding in the bushes until it got spooked by us looking at it. Lots there, but photographed were the following:
