Torteguero is a great place on the Caribbean side of the country. It's only accessible by boat or light aircraft (we used the latter) and is generally best known for the breading place of turtles at a certain time of year. We weren't there for the turtle season and had a couple of trips booked in a boat to see the wildlife in the national park. Animals photographed as follows:
