Not really sure why I'm keeping these pictures let alone devoting a separate page to them. I think it's because I went to the trouble of tracking the route we took. So, at the back of the hotel we were staying at was a track into the rainforest. There was the option to do a guided tour, but I didn't want to as didn't want to be part of a group and holding people up, so we headed off on our own. The plan was to find someone to wait quietly until something came by. That idea went out the cat-flap when it started to rain. There was very little chance of photographing anything (even if we had seen it, given how dark it was in there). The photo of the frog was taken in the forest, but has been brightened during editing so you can actually see something. The cricket and lizard were taken on the edge of the forest and were therefore not subject to the same lighting problems. And that's it. I can only imagine how many things we walked past without seeing, particularly after the walk we did in Manuel Antonio.
