A quick morning out to Garin that was very enjoyable. Didn't get to see any new birds, but some good looks as some of the old favorites like the Bullock's oriole. Also got an excellent look at some nesting house wren's taking food into their nest for the babies. I actually went out with an old lens on this day and was very pleased with the results - it's got a big zoom, but not necessarily the biggest aperture. We also got a great look at what appears to be a pocket gopher as it was poking in and out of its hole. Birds photographed:
